One year old seedling in a pot.
Origin: Specimen mother tree in Detroit, Michigan
Why you should plant: Swamp White Oak is one of the most versatile oak trees we have in Michigan, with all the ecological benefits of a classic White Oak. Awesome for urban areas, salt tolerant, transplants well. Medium to wet soils are optimum but can tolerate dry soils as well. When in doubt, plant SWO.
Full Sun
50-60ft Height, 50-60ft spread (under open conditions)
Pick up in Ann Arbor by appointment but if there are enough orders elsewhere we may distribute closer by. We will reach out to you after you order. You can also pay in cash and place your order over email PerennialGoldLLC@gmail.com
Imagine the full grown tree when planting. Place away from homes/power lines. Protect from deer and small mammals! We are happy to give planting advice if you have questions.
